Okay, so Sunday Cowboy by Hannah Wyatt is basically the perfect album for when you want to feel ALL the feelings. It’s dreamy, a little moody, and totally pulls you into this nostalgic, old-school Western vibe without feeling too country. The second I hit play, I felt like I was transported to some scenic open road at sunset, windows down, just vibing with my thoughts.
The first song, Sunday Cowboy, is such a perfect opener. It’s soft but powerful, like one of those songs that makes you think about life in the best possible way. Hannah’s voice is so smooth and emotional, and the melody is just chef’s kiss. It’s kinda sad, kinda sweet, and sets up the whole album’s vibe perfectly.

Then we get to Laura, which is SO cozy and nostalgic. It feels like listening to a story your grandma would tell you about her wild youth, but with this beautiful indie-folk twist. It’s warm and comforting, like wrapping yourself in a soft blanket on a rainy day. Definitely one of my favorites.
But then, Keep the Saddle Clean totally switches things up! It’s got this dark, mysterious energy, and I swear I could see a whole movie scene playing in my head while listening to it. Like, imagine a lone cowboy riding through the desert, dramatic lighting, dust in the air—yeah, it’s that kind of song. It’s super simple instrumentally, but it works because Hannah’s voice carries so much emotion.
And then there’s Drunk in the Rain, which is just pure feelings. It’s sad, beautiful, and feels like something you’d listen to when you’re lying in bed at 2 AM staring at the ceiling, thinking about life. You know those kinds of songs. The ones that make you want to text your best friend about all your deepest thoughts? Yep, this is one of them.
Honestly, Sunday Cowboy is one of those albums that you don’t just listen to—you feel it. It’s soft, thoughtful, and totally transports you to a different place. Hannah Wyatt is seriously underrated, and if you love indie folk or that slightly dark Americana sound, you need to check this out. Trust me, your playlist will thank you!
